The Pit Full Body Workout

Workout for 6th August.

This evenings workout was the pit full body workout, there is a full description here. Personally I think the 3 workouts on the DVD are great, don’t take my word for it though, read what others say about it:

Bottom line: If you buy this DVD and follow the workouts three times a week, you will get into great shape!

All in all the training programs are great to follow by yourself if you’re starting out, and want to improve your strength and stamina, with very little equipment.

A good dvd all round, well rounded upper and lower exercises. Good for both starters and advanced athletes.

The pit workout is available from amazon.co.uk.

Workout for 27th July.

Today I swam 50 lengths of the local pool, I was going to swim 100 lengths which is 2.5km or just over 1.5 mile, but at 50 lengths half the pool was closed off for lessons, I could have carried on but with everyone herded into half the pool it was a bit crowded to say the least, in future I’ll go very early in the morning when the pools laned off for adult swimming only. When I got back from the pool I did the pit full body workout.

Hotel gyms have a reputation for being tiny, ill-equipped, and crowded at peak hours. I also have an eclectic selection of [...]
